DALLAS– Paul Quinn College recently held groundbreaking and ribbon-cutting ceremonies on major campus improvement projects.
The college broke ground on its first new building on campus in 40 years—The Trammell S. Crow Living and Learning Center.
The LEED-certified building will feature 30,000 sf of residential space and 10,000 sf of classroom and office space. It will also have a dance studio and a 1,500-person capacity competitive gym.
College officials also unveiled the completed Bishop and Dr. John Hurst Adams and Family Lecture Hall and Auditorium.
The new auditorium will be used for classes, speaking engagements, movie screenings, assemblies, and meetings.
Located on Simpson Stuart Rd. near I-45, Paul Quinn College is the oldest historically African American university west of the Mississippi River.
