CORPUS CHRISTI – The Ed Rachal Foundation bought the iconic Frost Bank Plaza tower at 802 N. Carancahua St. late last month.
The foundation plans to upgrade the 23-story building and rent space to business professionals and large corporations.
The Frost building, built in 1983, is the second tallest in downtown.
The building was put on the market in the first half of 2018 after owners CC Frost Properties Ltd. (not to be confused with Frost Bank) of California filed for bankruptcy.
