AUSTIN – Dallas-based Eureka Holdings Inc. has steadily grown its holdings east of I-35 in recent years and now owns more than $51 million along Austin’s 12th St. corridor across 114 parcels.
The properties stretch east from I-35 to a little past Hargrave St., the Austin American-Statesman reports.
Eureka bought its first 12th St. property in 2014 at Navasota St.
Since then it has purchased empty lots, single-family homes, historic properties, and the Mount Carmel Village Apartments.
Rene Campos, the company’s managing partner, told the newspaper they want to create "quality developments that fit in with the neighborhood."
As of yet, the company has submitted no plans to the city.
