​​​​Image of Memorial Herman Medical Plaza.​HOUSTON – Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza, a 510,000-sf Class A medical office building in the heart of the Texas Medical Center, was sold at 6400 Fannin St.

LaSalle Investment Management purchased the property for a record-setting $400 million, according to the Wall Street Journal—the highest sum that's ever been paid for a medical office building in the U.S.

The 30-story property is 99 percent occupied.

The Chicago-based buyer is an independent subsidiary of JLL. The seller was a partnership between Memorial Hermann Health System, Mischer Healthcare, and other private investors.
