FRISCO | McKINNEY | ALLEN – Three Collin County cities were just ranked near the top of WalletHub’s list of the Best Places to be a First-Time Homebuyer.
Frisco, McKinney and Allen ranked 7, 8 and 16, respectively, out of 300 cities across the United States.
WalletHub compared the cities according to the metrics of affordability, real estate market, and quality of life.
In terms of affordability, Allen ranked 132 out of 300, Frisco ranked 152 and McKinney ranked 165.
McKinney was ranked as the No. 1 real estate market in the country, with Frisco and Allen following closely behind at 2 and 8, respectively.
In terms of quality of life, the three Collin County cities ranked near the top—Allen came in at 37 out of 300, McKinney ranked 42 and Frisco ranked 44.
