LA PORTE – Akzo Nobel NV, a Netherlands-based paints and specialty chemicals giant, has opened a 231,875-sf warehouse at 4111 Malone Dr.
The new facility is consolidating four existing Houston-area warehouses:
- 9900 Sam Houston Center Circle
- 14000 Westfair East Dr.
- 1200 Lathrop St.
- 1150 Hall Court
The consolidation process is expected to be completed by June 2018.
The new warehouse will offer tinting and color-matching services at the will-call counter and remain open for walk-up business for Marine and Protective Coatings customers.
Palmer Logistics will operate the new facility, which serves as a hub for all Akzo Nobel’s Houston-area Marine and Protective Coatings warehouses.
