NORTHLAKE – Dallas-based Hillwood Communities broke ground on a $1.5 billion residential community called Pecan Square this week.
The 1,157-acre project will bring more than 3,000 new homes and include commercial, retail, educational, and residential uses.
The first phase of the development will deliver over 630 homesites.
Plans also includes a new town hall, medical offices, restaurants, a salon, and a daycare.
A new community center will feature lounge area, business spaces, and a resident fitness center.
The grand opening of Pecan Square is scheduled for fall 2019.
