FRISCO – In June 2018, the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission approved a new mixed-use development located north of Main St. and west of Dallas Pkwy.
The 36-acre property was originally zoned for a data center in 2014; however, it was never developed.
The property owner has now requested that the land accommodate a retail, restaurant, and office development focused around a 124,000-sf Lifetime Fitness.
Within the request, two sub districts were proposed—Tollway District and Legacy District.
The Tollway District will be the central location for retail and restaurant services fronting a central open space feature.
The Legacy District will include the Lifetime Fitness facility, which will include two pools and 12 tennis courts.
