​​​Planes with the American Airlines logo on the tail.​DFW – American Airlines Group, Inc. announced several new domestic routes out of DFW Airport.

The new routes include service to Sarasota, Florida; Buffalo, New York; Wilmington, North Carolina; and Del Rio, Texas.

Del Rio is a small border town with a population of about 36,000 and is nearly three hours west of San Antonio.

The DFW-Del Rio route will start early November 2018 with operation twice daily on an Embraer 140 aircraft.

The DFW routes servicing Sarasota, Buffalo, and Wilmington will begin mid-December 2018, Sarasota will be operated seasonally, and Buffalo and Wilmington will be operated year-round.
