SUGAR LAND – The City of Sugar Land’s Mayfield Park is now open after an investment to expand the popular community amenity.
The approximately $1 million project expanded the park from 1.5 acres to more than four acres.
Reconstruction on Mayfield Park, located at 106 Ave. D, started summer 2017 and was completed spring 2018.
The improvements include:
- loop trails;
- a playground;
- a basketball court;
- a picnic pavilion;
- an open meadow;
- bike racks; and,
- landscaping.
