​​Image of the future UH Katy campus buildingKATY – The University of Houston (UH) System broke ground on its new campus.

The campus will feature an 80,000-sf building that’s expected to be complete by fall 2019. 

The 46-acre campus is located at the northeast corner of the Grand Pkwy. and I-10. 

The university’s 46 acres will be part of a 125-acre master-planned, mixed-use development, which the system and Parkside have rebranded as University Center. 

The UH Katy campus initially is expected to serve 2,000 students.
