​​​Rendering of mass timber frame building ​SAN ANTONIO – The first mass timber frame mixed-use building in Texas, at the intersection of Broadway St. and Eighth St., will soon be underway.

​The building will be 150,000 gross sf, with 130,000 sf of office space and 10,000 sf of retail on the ground floor.​

The building will also feature underground parking.

The building will use mass timber frame construction in lieu of concrete or steel.

Groundbreaking is expected to occur between late May 2018 and early June 2018, and for construction to last about 18 months.​
