CENTERVILLE, LEON COUNTY – The 5,000-acre Champion Ranch— located midway between Dallas and Houston along I-45—has hit the market.
The property includes an owner’s home on a 78-acre lake, as well as several barns, eight guest and ranch houses, and a 16-person bunkhouse.
A 2,200-sf on-property saloon also offers two bars, a piano, sound system, and seats for 180 guests.
Included in the sale will be 1,000 head of purebred Brangus breeder cattle, horses, and ranch equipment, along with 100 percent of the oil and gas rights on the property.
A majority of the proceeds from the ranch’s sale will benefit the Richard Wallrath Educational Fund, which plans to distribute the money between the 4-H Youth Development Foundation and FFA.
