SAN ANTONIO – The City of San Antonio has issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) seeking design and construction services for a $75.8 million renovation of the old Frost Bank Tower.
The renovation of the old Frost Bank Tower will involve all 22 floors at an estimated contract value of $57 million.
The project, at 100 W. Houston St., is scheduled to be complete by January 2020.
Once renovated, the building is expected to hold 23 city departments and about 1,500 city employees, consolidating several departments.
The RFQ for the Downtown City Office Building Project is the first of a two-phase solicitation process.
Written questions about the RFQ must be submitted by May 18, and RFQ submissions are due June 1, 2018.
