Webster hospital closing, 900 lose jobs
WEBSTER – The Bay Area Regional Medical Center, 200 Blossom St., will close and file for bankruptcy in May 2018.
The 191-bed hospital offers emergency, surgical, and a range of other medical services just a half-mile from Clear Lake Regional Medical Center.
An estimated 900 employees will lose their jobs.
