More SoCo changes to Austin’s trendy South Congress Ave

​​​​​​AUSTIN –The latest redevelopment on South Congress Ave. is underway at the site t​​​​​​​​​​hat houses the CityView at SoCo apartments.

At 1007 S Congress Ave, developer Turnbridge Equities is demolishing a four-story building at the front of the complex.

The old building, which included 36 apartments and retail space, will be replaced by a 50,000-sf building that will have three floors of office space on top of ground-floor retail space.

As part of the $18 million redevelopment, the remaining 217 apartments in the complex, along with the amenities, will be renovated and upgraded.

The project is expected to take just over a year to complete.​​
