The most prominent furniture chain in South Texas will hold a June 19, 2018, grand opening at its 12th Texas location, 4330 South Padre Island Dr.
The 32,500-sf building will have a staff of 25-30 people.
The closest Lacks to Corpus Christi is in Alice.​

Lacks former Ashley HomeStore brings the Top 100 company into a new but neighboring market​.
The stores sell furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, and home accessories.
Lacks can be found across South Texas from Laredo to Brownsville.
