​​Soap Factory takes its new name from the historic Menger Soap Works building.SAN ANTONIO – Three apartment communities along San Pedro Creek in downtown San Antonio are being revitalized under one name.

The Towne Center, Soapworks I, and Soapworks II apartments are undergoing interior and exterior renovations of common areas and apartment units.

The three communities at the southeast corner of N Santa Rosa St. and W Martin St. will be rebranded as the ​381-unit​​ Soap Factory.​

Updated apartments will include granite countertops, new floors, appliances, lights and fixtures. 

Other improvements to the community include new landscaping, new laundry facilities, a resident fitness center, a coffee bar and a cyber cafe.
