HOUSTON – The University of Texas System (UT System) plans
to sell about 301 acres it owns in Houston.
The land is just outside of the southwest portion of the I-610
Loop along Holmes Rd. near Main St., and is bisected by Buffalo Speedway and
Willowbend Blvd.
According to a map within the request for quote (RFQ), the
site is composed of seven tracts:
- Tract A: 101.48 acres
- Tract A-1: 22.35
acres - Tract B: 34.36 acres
- Tract C: 71.81 acres
- Tract C-1: 25.13
acres - Tract D: 49.78 acres
- Tract E: 2.99 acres
