Road to recovery centers plus 250 Temple jobs
TEMPLE – Two rehabilitation centers are hoping to grab a slice of Central Texas’ flourishing medical industry.
Cedar Park-based Rapid Recovery Center will open a $20 million rehabilitation hospital September 2018.
The 50,000-sf facility will open at 725 Marlandwood Dr. with 70 private suites.
The hospital will support 140 full-time employees and an additional 30–40 part-time positions.
Dallas-based Everest Rehabilitation is under construction at 23521 SE HK Dodgen Loop.
The $16 million, 38,000-sf facility is expected to add an additional 120 jobs to the area.
Both rehabilitation centers will be located near two of Central Texas’ largest health care facilities—Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple and the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Medical Center.
