​KATY – The University of Houston (UH) is expected to break ground on its new Katy campus in May 2018.

UH purchased the 46 acres and will construct an 80,000-sf, three-story building that will anchor the campus.​

The UH Katy campus is located on the northeast corner of I-10 and the Grand Pkwy.

The UH Katy campus is located on the northeast corner of I-10 and the Grand Pkwy.

The facility is expected to open by fall 2019 and will serve up to 10,000 students.

The new campus is a direct extension of the UH main campus.
