Sherman showers developers with approvals

​​​​SHERMAN – The Sherman Planning & Zoning Commission has approved an amended zone change and site plan for The Brooks on Heritage Parkway at 1305 S. FM 1417.

The Brooks on Heritage Parkway​ will include seven buildings—a trio of three-story buildings and two pairs of two story buildings—with a total of 148 apartments.

The concept plan provided to the city also shows the complex will feature a pool, pavilion and playground, in addition to a separate free-standing office.​​​

The zoning commission also approved plans for a development​ named Bluffs at Stone Creek​.

Plans for the Bluffs at Stone Creek, include

• a 406,091-sf assisted-living facility,

• an apartment complex on 17.388 acres, 

• a multifamily facility on 3.679 acres, and

• a separate section of residential homes.
