Lonza’s facility trading hands, hiring

​PEARLAND – Lonza Group Ltd. just opened its new 276,770-sf facility, and it already has a new landlord.

Zeller Realty Group acquired the property from Pinchal & Co.

The Lonza Viral Therapy Facility is on 11 acres at 14905 Kirby Dr. in Pearland’s Lower Kirby Urban District.

The facility officially opened in April 2018 with about 170 employees, but the space could support more than 400 workers.

The company is looking to hire, and it expects to employ more than 200 people in its facility by year-end 2018.
