GREATER HOUSTON – Walmart plans to invest roughly $277 million in Texas over 2018 as it opens and remodels stores and rolls out in-store and online innovations.
Walmart's investment includes a new store in Fulshear and remodels to 12 Houston-area locations:
The company also plans to build additional stores in El Paso, Fort Worth, and Vidor.
A total of 45 Texas stores will be remodeled.
