GREATER HOUSTON – Walmart plans to invest roughly $277 million in Texas over 2018 as it opens and remodels stores and rolls out in-store and online innovations.

Walmart’s investment includes a new store in Fulshear and remodels to 12 Houston-area locations:

Houston

  • 13750 East Fwy.
  • 12353 FM 1960 Rd. West
  • 9598 Rowlett Rd.
  • 111 Yale St.

Greater Houston

  • Angleton: 1801 N. Velasco St.
  • Cleveland: 831 Hwy. 59 South
  • Humble: 6626 FM 1960 Rd. East
  • Huntsville: 141 I-45 South
  • Kingwood: 2165 Northpark Dr.
  • League City: 1701 W. FM 646 Rd.
  • Porter: 23561 U.S. Hwy. 59
  • Stafford: 11210 W. Airport Blvd. 

The company also plans to build additional stores in El Paso, Fort Worth, and Vidor.

A total of 45 Texas stores will be remodeled.
