​​​HOUSTON – Houston Community College’s (HCC) new $30 million culinary arts building will have a groundbreaking ceremony in April 2018. 

The two-story, 38,000-sf building will include a cooking and baking lab, a dining room, a dish room, classrooms, a student lounge, and offices.​​

The facility will be built on parking lot 10, next to a five-story parking garage bounded by Alabama, La Branch, Winbern, and Austin Streets.

Construction is expected to be complete in 2020.
