BEAUMONT – Two of Lamar University’s multimillion dollar projects will reopen in 2018.
The $28 million renovated Stezer Student Center is expected to open in April 2018.
The 92,000-sf building features eateries, lounge spaces, meeting rooms, and a 400-seat ballroom for the school’s 14,000 students.
The $60 million Science and Technology Building is expected to open in November 2018.
More than three-quarters of the 83,000-sf building will include upper-level biology instructional laboratories and interdisciplinary research labs.
