​​Image of cows on the Broseco ranchMORRIS COUNTY – One of Northeast Texas' largest ranch properties, the 11,800-acre Broseco Ranch, has sold.

Located about an hour and a half east of Dallas, Broseco Ranch includes a 3,200-acre wildlife habitat along the Sulphur River.

There are three lakes on the property and seven houses, including a 6,600-sf lodge.

There are also two 10,000-sf barns.

The 50-year-old ranch near Mount Pleasant had been listed for sale at more than $34 million.

Records show that the Broseco sold to a unit of Amarillo-based Smith Ranches.​
