KATY – The Katy Independent School District (Katy ISD) will spend more than $24 million for a new elementary school, and in excess of $6.5 million for the site of a future combined high school-junior high campus.
Katy ISD school board trustees signed off on building what is currently called Elementary School No. 42.
The campus will be built in an area south of Morton Ranch Rd. and west of Grand Pkwy.
The district also approved spending money for 157 acres that will someday be a combined high school-junior high campus.
It will be located near the just-opened Patricia E. Paetow High School at 23111 Stockdick School Rd.
