CEDAR PARK – Cedar Park City Council has approved a mixed-use development plan on roughly 126 acres at the northwest corner of E Whitestone Blvd. and Sam Bass Rd.

Called Indigo Ridge North, plans include:

  • two hotels;
  • 100,000 sf of retail;
  • 50,000 sf of boutique office space;
  • 270,000 sf of office space;
  • 1,050 residential units;
  • 120 high-rise residential units; and
  • 47.8 acres of mixed-use with residential and non-residential options

Todd Madden, president of Thompson Morris Real Estate Development, says “when the development is built out it will be worth approximately $1 billion ... Cedar Park doesn’t have anything like this.

Indigo Ridge will be a true mixed-use community and have a feel similar to the Domain.”

Indigo Ridge plans to break ground on the required infrastructure in July 2018.
