Oracle’s cloud nine; growth to 10,000 people

​​​​AUSTIN – Oracle has opened its new waterfront Austin campus at 2300 Cloud Way.

The first 560,000 sf building and parking garage already has more than 2,000 employees with a capacity of 2,500.

Along with the site on Lady Bird Lake, Oracle owns 43 acres of commercially zoned property nearby.

“We bought all this real estate and we’re not done yet,” Ellison said. “We think this is a phenomenal facility to house fantastic people … I think this facility is going to grow to about 10,000 people,” founder Larry Ellison said.
