PLANO, THE WOODLANDS – Niche has ranked The Woodlands as the No. 2 best place to raise a family nationwide.
On Niche’s 2018 list, north Plano came next at No. 3, but both Texas cities were beaten by Chicago suburb Naperville, Illinois.
The 2018 "Best Places to Raise a Family" list evaluated 15,000 cities on several factors, including school performance, cost of living, crime and safety, amenities, and more.
The Woodlands also ranked No. 3 on Best City to Buy a House in America, and was No. 7 on Niche’s Best Cities to Live in America.
