Mind your Manor: HS first of its kind to Central TX
MANOR – Manor ISD is putting its final touches on a new $48 million school building.
Manor Senior High School will be home base for juniors and seniors, leaving the old Manor High School primarily for freshmen and sophomores.
Similar in shape to a boomerang, construction is nearly complete on the 215,000-sf, 1,200-student capacity school that will initially open with 900 juniors and seniors in August.
The two-campus high school has the look and feel of a small college campus: open and collaborative work spaces, large windows and natural light, and charging stations for cell phones and laptops.
The Manor Senior High campus is located in the far northeast portion of the district, neighboring the Manor Athletic Complex at 14900 FM 973.
