Redevelopment winds down at 1217 Main | Redevelopment winds down at 1217 Main | https://www.recenter.tamu.edu/news/newstalk-texas/?Item=19351 | 2018-03-08T06:00:00Z | 2018-03-08T22:00:00Z | DALLAS – Construction has finished on the $20 million renovation of the five-story, 28,000-sf historic brick building at 1217 Main St. The brick building includes four floors of office space atop ground-floor retail, which includes a restaurant with subterranean prep-kitchen and a 5,000-bottle wine cellar and a six-deck bread oven, as well as the urban-style, 2,5000-sf market. The exterior of the 60-year-old building has nearly 30,000 blue and white mosaic tiles featuring a design by Cuban-American artist and sculptor Jorge Pardo.
