AUSTIN – The Governor’s Commission to Rebuild Texas has launched a recovery tracker that allows the public to see how funds related to Hurricane Harvey recovery are being used.
The commission says that the tracker includes information on how many individuals have been approved for disaster assistance, how much assistance has been provided so far, how many direct housing assistance projects have been completed, and how many individuals are in hotels funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
According to the commission, the Recovery Tracker is still a work in progress, but currently it contains data from the Texas General Land Office and FEMA. The commission says that information from other agencies will be added to the tracker once it is obtained.
