DALLAS | WACO – AT&T is planning to offer the mobile 5G services by the end of 2018 to customers in parts of Dallas and Waco, as well as in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Dallas-based company will announce additional cities in the coming months.
AT&T says it expects to reach “theoretical peak speeds of multiple gigabits per second on devices through mobile 5G,” as well as much lower latency rates, or the time it takes the network to understand and respond to a data request.
