EL PASO – Flix Brewhouse, a theater chain that combines a movie theater with a microbrewery, will open its first area location in late 2018 or early 2019 near Northern Pass and I-10.
The theater will be an anchor tenant in the $100 million West Towne Marketplace retail development in Northwest El Paso.
The El Paso Flix Brewhouse will be located next to the Cabela’s outdoor recreation store that opened in West Towne Marketplace in September 2017.
The 38,750-sf Flix Brewhouse will feature nine auditoriums with parabolic screens, and will employ about 175 people.
The company’s move into the El Paso market follows that of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, which opened its first El Paso location less than two years ago.
