​​​Rendering of Braniff HQ redevelopment and image of original Braniff HQ design from the 1960s​DALLAS – The Arnold Cos. Air has announced plans to put a new commercial flight center in part of Braniff International Airways' old headquarters at Dallas Love Field.

The aviation ground services company plans to have the facility open by summer 2019 with 200,000 sf of hangar space and aviation support facilities.

Dallas businessman Randall Reed is working with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones Blue Star Land and developer Lincoln Property Co. to redevelop the 28-acre Braniff headquarters.

The project, called the Braniff Centre, will include Reed's Park Cities Lincoln dealership when it's finished.​

The new aviation base will be accompanied by retail, restaurant, offices and an auto dealership in a $134 million mixed-use redevelopment of the 60-year-old headquarters at 7701 Lemmon Ave.​​
