The Grand Parkway Town Center has yet to begin construction at the southwest corner of the Grand Pkwy. and Hwy. 249.TOMBALL – Commercial development has continued along the Hwy. 249 corridor in southern Tomball.

Northpointe Business Park is being developed along Northpointe Blvd. and Hwy. 249.

Some tenants leased space prior to its groundbreaking scheduled for early 2018.

The park will feature seven buildings when completed, totaling more than 40,000 sf.

Northpointe Center’s second section will feature retail space that’s slated to open in mid-2018.

At build-out, the center will feature two retail centers totaling 27,800 sf and one office building totaling 20,000 sf.

Bruce Hillegeist, president of the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce, said he believes business growth in the Northpointe area is linked to a growing number of homes, the school districts, high traffic counts and access to major thoroughfares.
