EL PASO – The City of El Paso will spend $3.5 million to buy and preserve hundreds of acres of open space near Castner Range along the Franklin Mountains.
The deal represents the city’s largest ever acquisition of open space.
The property, which the city plans to call Knapp Canyon, runs along a Northeast neighborhood on Titanic St. and Devils Tower St.
