New retail district for La Cantera

SAN ANTONIO – CSW Development will soon lay the foundation for a new retail district along La Cantera Pkwy., just north of The Shops at La Cantera and across I-10 from The Rim.

CSW plans to develop the 34-acre La Cantera Heights into a service retail and restaurant destination, with the possibility of future office development.

The larger, 25-acre northern section will have at least six buildings, which could range from 3,000 to 24,000 sf. 

The smaller, nine-acre southern plot, which will be build first, will include four buildings ranging from 5,040 to 18,750 sf.

Depending on how long the permitting process takes, the project could break ground in as little as four months while the northern section is at least another year away.
