The property is known as the site of the region’s first industry, Hart’s Mill, and was home to Fort Bliss garrisons from 1879 to 1894.

The property’s future is now in the hands of three young El Pasoans: investor J.W. Rogers III, architect Rida Asfahani and real estate agent Landry McKee.

The trio is prepared to make a major investment to bring the 137-year-old buildings back to life.

Rogers and Asfahani are no strangers to bringing life back to historic buildings—the two are part of the team restoring the historic Abdou Building at 115 N. Mesa.
