MIDTOWN HOUSTON – Melbourne, Australia-based Caydon Property Group poured the foundation for its first U.S. project.
The $200 million residential tower, at 2850 Fannin St., will also be the first high-rise in Midtown.
The 27-story tower will have 357 units, featuring a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Common-area amenities will include a private pool with a swim-up bar, fitness center with a yoga studio, and a sky lounge overlooking Midtown and downtown Houston.
There also will be 12,000 sf of retail space for shops and restaurants along Main St. and Drew St., as well as a 482-car parking garage.
The project is expected to be complete in third quarter 2019.
