​​​TOMBALL – ​​Johnson Development Services has purchased the 370-acre former Egyptian Arabian horse farm at 19600 Stone Lake Dr. to build a 1,000-home community.

The firm also plans to turn a 7,000-sf building on the property into a recreation center. 

Beazer ​Homes and Perry Homes will build the houses, which will be in the $200,000 to $400,000 range.

​​​The recreation center and 250 lots will be built in phase one, and the first homes should open by fall 2019.​​
