XTO Energy sells historic Petroleum Building

​​​​FORT WORTH – Sundance Square has purchased the Petroleum Building, 210 W 6th St., from XTO Energy.

Built in 1927, the Petroleum Building has about 117,000 sf of space, while the 12-story parking garage has two levels with about 31,000 sf of retail or office space.

The Tarrant Appraisal District appraises the 14-story office building at about $9 million.

XTO Energy, an oil and gas subsidiary of ExxonMobil, will lease back the building through July 2018.​
