​​​MONT BELVIEU – ​​The Texas Watershed Steward (TWS) workshop on Cedar Bayou water quality, which was originally scheduled for Jan. 17, has been moved to Feb. 8.

The rescheduled program will be from 1-5 p.m. at the Don McLeod Recreation Center at 10717 Langston Dr. It is presented by AgriLife Extension and Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board in cooperation with the Houston-Galveston Area Council.

Discussion will cover watershed systems, types and sources of water pollution, and ways to improve and protect water quality. There also will be a group discussion on community-driven watershed protection and management.

Attendees will receive a copy of the TWS Handbook and a certificate of completion. The program offers continuing education units for several types of licensees.
