FRISCO – The city is purchasing 390 acres from Brinkmann Ranch for $61 million.
The land is at Preston Rd. and the future Panther Creek Pkwy. Around 240 acres will be used for a sports complex with athletic fields and open space. The deal will close in early February.
The Frisco Community Development Corp. will pay $23 million for 100 of the acres. The Frisco Economic Develop Corp. will consider buying the remaining 50 acres.
