​​HOUSTON – ​Developer Jack Matthews is building a $70 million high-rise apartment building next to a newly-renovated historic high school at Pearl and Bryan streets. ​​​

The 16-story building at 2400 Bryan St. will have 230 apartments, 110 of which are reserved for residents earning between 30 and 60 percent of the area’s median income.

​The project also includes a six-level, 400-space parking garage and 10,000 sf of retail space across ten floors​.

Work will start on the project​​​​​​ in early 2019.​​
