LONGVIEW, GREGG COUNTY – Dollar General Corp. will be building a new, nearly 1 million-sf, distribution center.
Once at full capacity the distribution center is expected to create some 400 permanent jobs and serve roughly 1,000 Dollar General retail locations in Texas and the Southeast.
Construction is expected to start in early 2018, pending permits and approvals.
The Longview distribution center will be the 17th such facility in the discount retailer’s distribution network and its second in Texas.
