ODESSA – The 51,000-sf Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine at the Permian Basin's academic building is taking shape.
Expected to be complete in time for a September 2018 move-in, the two-story structure will cost a little more than $22 million.
The first floor will have a conference center, plus large and small classroom space.
The second floor will include office space for a couple of the deans, research space and laboratory facilities.
The building also will include 4,000 sf of lab space, with 2,000 sf of lab space for future growth.
