​​Rendering of Bellaire Food Street in HoustonHOUSTON – Houston’s Chinatown will soon have a slate of new restaurants as part of a new development.

Called Bellaire Food Street, the project broke ground Nov. 21, 2017 and is expected to open mid-2018. 
Located at 9393 Bellaire Blvd., the structure will lease 24,000 sf on the first floor to nine vendors that offer cuisines from Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan.
The nearly two-acre lot will also have a three-story parking garage, according to Bellaire Food Street’s marketing brochure. 
This project aims to be a one-stop food experience for customers by offering a variety of main course, dessert, coffee and tea options.
